IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
We Are the Last Line of Defense

Dear Friend:

I made it very clear in Friday's Wall Street Journal: the threats to the business community are significant if the Senate is controlled by an anti-business majority. Our opponents are pulling out all the stops - and we are not backing down. We need your help now.

"The Chamber is throwing its extensive resources at denying the left a filibuster-proof Senate. In doing so, it has stuck its finger in ... leadership's beehive, and is facing retribution.

It says something about the momentousness of this race that the Chamber doesn't care."

We will continue to be aggressive right up until Election Day and beyond, but we need your help now. Click here to donate $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, $100 or $50 to support our hard-hitting efforts. There is simply no time to delay.

Last week, we told you about New York Senator Chuck Schumer's dismay with the U.S. Chamber. As Friday's article highlights:

"Truth is, the Chamber is nonpartisan. It makes endorsements based on which candidate will do the most for the business community. If Mr. Schumer wants those endorsements, he could always try fielding candidates that deserve them."

I said once and I'll say it again, "Our deal is to be the last line of defense for the business community."

Tax increases. Higher gas costs. Unfettered Union corruption. More lawsuit abuse. These will be the costs of the liberal takeover. We're not going to let that happen - but we need your support.

Please click here to make your immediate online contribution of $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, $100, $50, or whatever you can afford today.
If ever there was a time to for Friends of the U.S. Chamber to be a force, now is that time. The stakes simply couldn't be greater.

Sincerely,

Bill Miller
Senior Vice President and National Political Director
