Dow soars after Senate passes tax reform 
The Hill

The Hill reports, "The Dow climbed more than 200 points at the start of trading on Monday morning, the first time traders took the floor since the Senate passed a sweeping tax-reform bill. The Senate passed legislation early Saturday morning to overhaul the tax code, approving the plan by a 51-49 vote."

Democrats to join Trump, Republicans in talks to avert government shutdown

Reuters reports, "Democratic leaders in Congress on Monday accepted an invitation to meet U.S. President Donald Trump and Republicans for talks to avert a government shutdown this week, even as the Democrats pressed demands on funding priorities and protecting young immigrants."

House Votes To Conference Tax Reform Legislation

The Daily Caller reports, "The House passed a motion permitting the House and Senate to begin formal tax negotiations Monday, bringing Republicans one step closer to achieving their goal of overhauling the tax code before the end of 2017."
