Any sustainable recovery plan to restore the nation's economic health must involve the business sector, which creates the jobs and the growth on which all Americans and our government depend. And this holiday season, the problem is amplified - Americans are cutting back on holiday shopping and travel. In fact, according to AAA, travel over this Thanksgiving holiday will drop for the first time in six years due to the economic slowdown. Not to mention, consumer confidence fell to an all-time low in October.
