Write Congress Today Please Fix the Economy First In January, the new Congress will convene in our Nation's capital - and plenty of challenges await them. Their wish list may be large, but we need them to focus on fixing the economy first. Click here to urge Congress to take immediate action to get our economy moving again. The U.S. economy continues to be hit by the unwinding of the housing market, a severe liquidity crisis, and deleveraging of the financial markets. The already weak economy threatens to slow further, making credit even less accessible to Main Street businesses. This downturn will likely last longer and run much deeper than the earlier economic crises. The time for action is now.
