BOWLING GREEN – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced the endorsement of U.S. Representative Bob Latta for the general election in Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recognized Congressman Latta’s strong record of supporting pro-growth and pro-jobs policies.
“The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Bob Latta and his strong record in support of policies that will create jobs in northwest Ohio and across the country,” said Rob Engstrom, the U.S. Chamber’s senior vice president and national political director. “Latta understands that free enterprise, not more government, will lead the American recovery, and we’re proud to stand with him in his re-election campaign.”
“I am pleased to have earned the support of the U.S. Chamber and proud to have this endorsement,” Latta said. “As I meet with business owners throughout the Fifth Congressional District of Ohio, I hear the same concerns of burdensome government regulations, high taxes, an intrusive healthcare law, and the of a lack domestic energy policy.
“Creating jobs and returning our country back on a road to economic prosperity is my top priority,” Latta added. “More federal government intervention in our nation’s businesses, small and large, will not move our sluggish economy forward. I share the U.S. Chamber’s commitment for policies that will allow businesses to grow, expand, and create jobs.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of local chambers and industry associations, as well as more than 3 million businesses of all sizes within various sectors and regions throughout the country.
