• Advocate for the construction and operation of renewable energy projects.
• Urge Congress to authorize environmentally compatible exploration for domestic sources of oil and gas.
• Champion efforts by industry to develop technologies to better use energy resources and to export those technologies to the developing world which has become the source of the bulk of new greenhouse emissions.
• Work with the business community and government regulatory agencies to ensure that air quality standards are based on sound science and are implemented fairly.
