Yes, I agree with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that the best way to keep our economy strong is by keeping taxes low, fair and simple. I support their efforts to:

• Repeal the Death Tax. This tax is unfair, difficult to collect and represent only about 1% of federal revenue.
• Repeal or Reform the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). The AMT unfairly penalizes businesses which invest heavily in plants, machinery and equipment. Reforming it would spur capital investments and create jobs.
• Make the Bush Tax Cuts Permanent. Americans spent and invested the money put back in their pockets by these tax cuts more wisely and efficiently than the government could have and they should be allowed to continue to do so.
